[SMARTLIBS – PP23] A digital ecosystem for optimising the recovery of material from shredding dead lithium-ion batteries from electric vehicles (Dossier VEC-020100-2022-124)

The main goal of the project is to bring intelligence to the value chain of dismantling and recycling batteries from connected electric vehicles and provide a collaborative and configurable digital ecosystem that overcomes current technological barriers. It must have the capacity to adapt to technological fluctuations in a sector at the height of development, and make it possible to predict and monitor the quality of recycled materials, as a basic pillar needed to improve processes and new products derived from them, as well as other common products, that will be used by OTUA.

Industrial company Reydesa Recycling, the Inatec Foundation, which are both part of the OTUA business group, and Semantic Systems, which is an ITC company, collaborated on the project.
