In consonance with their commitment to the circular economy and using renewable energy, the Reydesa Recycling, S.L. company, which belongs to OTUA, has installed and put into operation a photovoltaic system on the 3800 m2 roof of their plant at Calle Zabaldea 3-5 in the Goiain industrial park.
The installation of the solar system started in August 2023, and it was put into operation in October of last year.
The main technical characteristics of the system are the following:
Nominal power of the system: 440 kWn
Peak power: 500 kWp
Number of panels: 910
Surface area occupied by the modules: 2,365 m2
Annual consumption: 1,895,227 kWh
Annual estimated PV production: 459,505 kWh
Estimated annual self-consumption: 381,845 kWh (83.1%)
Number of inverters: 4
Nominal inverter power: 110 kWn
The investment for this project had assistance from the Basque Energy Agency and the IDAE, within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan financed by the European Union – NextGenerationEU.
