Resalox Project

The Resalox project is a new research and technological development initiative within our strategic line of innovation in service of the environment.

Resalox Project

We’re doing this project in collaboration with the Gerdau company, and the R&D units of both groups are participating in it: Inatec Foundation and Gerdau. The primary goal of the Resalox project is to recover a secondary raw material and thus promote recycling and industrial sustainability.

The main benefits of the project will be visible on many levels.

  • Environmental: Putting recycled materials into the industrial process to contribute to preserving natural raw materials.
  • Industrial: Improving recycling ratios.
  • Economic: Cost savings.

This research project has support and financing from CDTI and EEA Grants, which are two institutions committed to developing new technologies.
