Resalox Project
The Resalox project is a new research and technological development initiative within our strategic line of innovation in service of the environment.
We’re doing this project in collaboration with the Gerdau company, and the R&D units of both groups are participating in it: Inatec Foundation and Gerdau. The primary goal of the Resalox project is to recover a secondary raw material and thus promote recycling and industrial sustainability.
The main benefits of the project will be visible on many levels.
- Environmental: Putting recycled materials into the industrial process to contribute to preserving natural raw materials.
- Industrial: Improving recycling ratios.
- Economic: Cost savings.
This research project has support and financing from CDTI and EEA Grants, which are two institutions committed to developing new technologies.
